Priority Club is a loyalty hotel program from IHG hotel chain featuring Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, etc.
Every three months they release a list of hotels that can be booked for 5,000 points a night. Even if you are not a member of the Priority Club program, you can still “buy” the points (there is a trick to it) for $.70 cents a point. That means if you find a hotel you like for 5,000 points you can snatch it for $35 a night. Regular cost per room at many of those hotels will run into hundreds of dollars.
The trick is to snatch the room you like quickly, because these rates are capacity controlled, and it’s on first come first served basis. Snatching quickly is easier said than done, because there are plenty of other vultures just like you who don’t hesitate when they see what they like.
The list is valid until March 28th 2013.
If you’re new to Prioirty Rewards program (and flexible), it’s a good idea to sit this one out (they release new Pointbreaks every quarter) and see the samples of destinations that are made available. Join the program, “buy” some points (again do not buy outright, I’ll post the trick how to do it later) and be ready for the time of the next release. Then just come and snatch it before everyone else does.
