You can sail on Carnival Splendor from New York to the Bahamas for $299 (and when I say for once, I do mean it; you must depart on November 17th if you want this deal). For $319 per person, three more dates are available: Dec, 3, Jan 20 and Jan 28.
Of course the above pic is not what you’re getting for $299. That is a balcony room that can be yours for $449 per person, and this is such a fantastic price for a balcony stateroom that I would strongly recommend you to splurge. Don’t listen to this “I’m not gonna spend much time in a room anyway” nonsense, because with a balcony room you’ll want to. At this price, you can afford a little bit of luxury. Believe me, you’ll be amazed how much pleasure you will take enjoying those magnificent views while sipping coffee or wine on your own private balcony.
Another reason why this is a fantastic deal is that Carnival Splendor is not some mid-range ship either. It’s the biggest in the Carnival fleet and it enjoys solid 4-star reviews from Cruise Critic. Taxes and fees for two people (with a balcony cabin) add $246.88 to the bill, so the total would come to $1,144.88 for two. If you decide on an interior stateroom your total bill for two people comes to $844.88. Carnival also suggests gratuity in the amount of $11.50 per person daily.
